Medicinal Aromatherapy Workshop… October 2009

We are very happy and excited to be offering our Wisdom of the Earth Level One Aromatherapy Certification Workshop. As many of you know our use of essential oils is quite different from the traditional aromatherapy that is used in many spas and by most aromatherapists and massage therapists around the globe. We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge of the tremendous healing abilities of the plant and tree kingdom with you.
We have already received notice that we will have some attendees from other countries as well as previous students who will be auditing the class that we will be hosting this October. As of this date, the workshop will be offered in Joy’s studio at Stillpoint...Living in Balance. We are planning some very fun, enlightening as well as informative activities for the weekend. We will have Wisdom of the Earth essential oils on hand in order for everyone to experience the essences. We invite you to join us for our weekend of depth connection with the essences as well as with yourself.
Please see Sedona Workshops and Events for a detailed curriculum of the workshop contents, price, as well as the specific times and dates.

Lymphatic Drainage is a manual hands-on light touch technique designed to help maintain a healthy immune system. The method of lymphatic drainage that we practice was developed by Dr Bruno Chikly. Dr Chikly’s LDT takes lymphatic drainage to an optimum level. We are trained to detect the specific rhythm, depth and quality of the lymphatic flow. This enables us to achieve more profound and deeper results in a shorter period of time based on your lymphatic rhythm.
The lymphatic system is an extremely complex system made up of mostly lymphatic vessels and nodes. It transports a watery clear fluid called lymph. It also interacts with the blood/circulatory system to drain fluid from cells and tissues. The primary job of the lymphatic system is to collect and return interstitial fluid, including plasma protein to the blood, to defend against disease, and to absorb lipids from the intestine and transport them to the blood.
